Fell off horse

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

No fracture or malalignment demonstrated. Prevertebral soft tissues are within normal limits. Incidental note of accessory ossicle of the anterior arch of C1. 

Case Discussion

This is an incidental finding and is well-corticated and in a typical position for this well-known ossicle and should not be confused for a traumatic injury.
