The joint structures, including the ligaments, are unremarkable.
Incidental finding of the accessory soleus muscle, which is visible between the FHL and the Achilles tendon, with tendinous insertion into the medial side of the calcaneus.
The accessory soleus muscle is a rare anatomical variant. It may be asymptomatic or associated with pain, it may also present as a soft-tissue mass. In the presented case it wasn't associated with any symptoms.
