Dilated esophagus with hold up of barium and bird beak sign at esophagogastric junction.
Case Discussion
Achalasia is commonly diagnosed on barium swallow and less frequently visualized on ultrasonography. Careful evaluation of esophagogastric junction and distal esophagus may give useful information for the diagnosis.
