Ankle pain and swelling after moderate activity.

Patient Data

Age: 55
Gender: Female

The patient had rheumatoid arthritis

Disruption of Achilles tendon with haemorrhage and oedema filling a 4.5 cm gap between the torn edges. Kager's triangle is obliterated.

Case Discussion

Diagnosis: Type III Achilles tendon tear.
