Twisting injury

Non-visualization of the ACL fibres indicative of complete tear. Posterior horn medial meniscus tear is seen as well.

Case Discussion

MRI of the knee joint demonstrates non-identification of the normal expected ACL fibres in keeping with complete full thickness tear. Associated torn posterior horn medial meniscus.
