Acoustic schwannoma

Presentation

Right sided hearing loss.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

MRI demonstrates characteristic features of a large, and cystic acoustic schwannoma, with an enhancing mass extending into the acoustic canal and indenting the brain-stem. 

Case Discussion

This lesion was resected, and schwannoma confirmed pathologically.
