Disruption of the AC joint capsule and the AC ligaments. Partial rupture of the CC ligaments.
Rim rent tearing is seen at the supraspinatus tendon posterior fibers associated with subchondral cystic changes at the greater tuberosity.
Os acromiale is seen.
Case Discussion
This patient was referred with the history of shoulder pain and immobility after direct shoulder trauma. Regarding the imaging findings, this is a type 2 acromioclavicular injury according to the Rockwood classification.
