Abdominal pain and nausea

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Multifocal enteritis with areas of dilation of small bowel. The area of most pronounced thickening and 15-20 cm of distal/terminal ileum, which likely represents a combination of fibrostenotic and actively inflamed Crohn's disease, as it results in upstream small bowel dilatation. A few other short segments of thickened and hyperenhancing small bowel loops are noted proximally, consistent with multifocal disease.

Case Discussion

Patient has a known diagnosis of Crohn's disease, with multiple areas of actively inflamed and fibrostenotic disease.
