Increased attenuation of the medullary pyramids in keeping with medullary nephrocalcinosis. No stones are seen. Very long retrocecal appendix with the tip reaching the lower pole of the right kidney with fat stranding near its tip with a maximum diameter of 0.8 cm in keeping with acute appendicitis.
