A small irregular hypodense area seen at the left temporal region (mainly the left insular cortex) with loss of grey-white matter differentiation, the external capsule and abutting the postero-lateral margin of the left lentiform nucleus. Hyperdense MCA sign is present in the M2 segment of the left middle cerebral artery. These findings are more conspicuous on the stroke window level 32, width 8. No detected intraparenchymal hemorrhage.
