There is a calcification (about 7 x 4 x 2) at the palmar side of the scaphotrapezial joint. The calcification is located in and just superficial to the joint capsule. It correlates with the site of the local pain.
There is a thin-walled cyst (2 x 2 x 1.4 mm) on the radial side of the scaphoid-trapezium joint. It shows extension in the joint.
The flexor carpi radialis tendon is normal.
