Multiple cortical/subcortical hyperintensities involving bilateral frontoparietal, temporal lobes and insular regions. No evidence of diffusion restriction seen.
Thickening and hyperintensity is seen involving intraorbital, intracanalicular and intracranial segments of bilateral optic nerves with subtle inflammatory stranding in bilateral orbital fat.
Case Discussion
Findings suggest a likelihood of acute disseminating encephalomyelitis with bilateral optic neuritis.
