Road traffic accident.
Patient Data













Bony bruise of the lateral tibial plateau, inter tibial region and proximal tibia noted.
There is complete tear of the ACL.
Lateral meniscus: There is complete vertical tear of the anterior horn, furthermore the anterior horn is seen to be displaced in the intercondylar region, suggestive of flipped meniscus.
Medial meniscus: There is complete complex tear (vertical & oblique component) of the posterior horn, with upper/lower and outer articular surface communication. There is oedema of the body with extrusion of its anterior horn.
Grade I sprain of lateral collateral ligament.
Grade II sprain of medial collateral ligament.
Moderate volume joint effusion noted.
Periarticular soft tissue thickening noted.





There is minimally displaced fracture of the posterolateral tibial plateau.
