Acute hypersensitivity pneumonitis
Previously healthy young adult, presenting with recent onset cough and shortness of breath.

There is homogeneous bilateral and symmetric alveolar opacities and numerous centrilobular ground-glass alveolar nodules.
No evidence of fibrosis.
Upon further questioning, the patient reported working closely with birds recently, which is, along with the radiologic findings, points to acute hypersensitivity pneumonitis as the diagnosis.
