Altered signal intensity of right frontoparietal lobes, cortical and subcortical, appears hyperintense on T2W images and FLAIR sequences with restricted diffusion on DW/ADC. It causes effacement of regional overlying sulci.
No flow on TOF sequences of distal branches of right middle cerebral artery.
Case Discussion
Cortical hyperintensity on T2W, slightly subcortical of right frontoparietal lobes with restricted diffusion, likely territory of right middle cerebral artery, and shows no flow in distal branches of right MCA (M4, M5 and M6), denoting acute infarction.
