Left maxillary, ethmoidal and frontal opacities favouring sinusitis with extention into left orbit and causing orbital abscess and proptosis. Left hemifacial swelling also noted.
In a 55 Y/O diabetic patient with left hemifacial pain and swelling ; left maxillary, ethmoidal and frontal sinusitis are seen with extention into left orbit and causing orbital abscess and proptosis. No definite hyperdense components are seen on the non contrast images.
The findings consistent fungal sinusitis with orbital abscess (likely acute invasive).
