Hemifacial pain and swelling in a diabetic patient.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Left maxillary, ethmoidal and frontal opacities favoring sinusitis with extension into left orbit causing orbital abscess and proptosis. Left hemifacial swelling also noted.

Case Discussion

Features of left maxillary, ethmoidal and frontal sinusitis with left orbital abscess and proptosis. The findings favor fungal sinusitis with orbital abscess (likely acute invasive).
