Acute maxillary sinusitis

Patient Data

Age: 10 years
Gender: Male

Partial opacification of the maxillary sinuses with air-fluid levels are seen bilaterally.

Right frontal sinus is not pneumatized. The other paranasal sinuses are unremarkable.

Nasal septum appears normal.

Case Discussion

Imaging features suggest maxillary sinusitis (acute on chronic).
