Presentation

Young male presented with painful right scrotal swelling. No history of trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound
  • enlarged right testis with hypervascularity on Doppler imaging
  • extra-testicular tiny floating echoes with thin septa favor pyocele
  • right spermatic cord was thickened, echogenic and hypervascular when compared to left (no image uploaded here)
  • right sided reactive inguinal nodes were present (no image uploaded here)

Acute right orchitis with pyocele was the final diagnosis.
