Persistent ground glass lung nodule.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

CT Chest (selected images)

Ground glass nodule in the lower lobe of the left lung.


Positive for malignant cells. Findings in keeping with NSCLC, favoring adenocarcinoma.

Case Discussion

Adenocarcinoma of the lung can present as non-specific ground glass opacities. These often require long-term follow-up.
