Right iliac fossa pain. Possible clinical diagnosis of acute appendicitis.

Age: 75 years
Gender: Female

CT images show a large distended appendix with thickened and enhanced walls associated with surrounding inflammatory changes. 

Case Discussion

The patient underwent surgery. Anatomopathological diagnosis confirmed an appendix neoplasm: Adenocarcinoma.
