There is an ill-defined lesion in the posterior wall of the uterus measuring approximately 23 x 39 x 39 mm (AP X TD X CC). The lesion appears isointense on T2w images with multiple tiny T1W/T2W hyperintense foci within. There are small areas of bleeding on GRE images.
Cystic lesion measuring approximately18 x 10 mm is seen in the vagina at the level of the pubic symphysis and mildly extending below it.
Case Discussion
The ill-defined lesion in the posterior wall of the uterus is consistent with an adenomyoma or focal adenomyosis.
