Limited shoulder mobility

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

A minimal amount of fluid is seen within the rotator interval associated with incomplete obliteration of the subcoracoid triangle by soft tissue thickening encircling the biceps anchor.

A minimal amount of joint fluid is seen within the subscapularis recess.

Abnormally edematous IGHL at the axillary pouch with increased signal in fat sat images.

Case Discussion

The presence abnormal soft tissue thickening within the rotator interval with signal alteration encasing the biceps anchor with edematous IGHL are consistent with adhesive capsulitis of the shoulder
