Adrenal lymphoma

Abdominal pain and diarrhea

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male

Post-contrast CT abdomen shows bilateral large adrenal masses, larger on the left side, which extends to cross the midline. Both lesions show inhomogeneous post-contrast enhancement and mildly displace the surrounding solid organs with no infiltrations, associated with multiple discrete retroperitoneal enlarged lymph nodes.

Dense urinary bladder stone.


CT guided biopsy of the left adrenal lesion shows diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, non-GC type.

Case Discussion

CT abdomen study shows bilateral adrenal masses which confirmed by CT guided biopsy as a primary adrenal lymphoma which is an uncommon adrenal lesion, usually presents bilaterally and affects elderly people.
