Adrenal myelolipoma

Presentation

Abdominal discomfort for five months

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

A well-marginated rounded lesion of approximate size 10.2*8.3*7.5 cm containing fat components( -80 to -120 HU) and soft tissue components noted in right suprarenal region possibly arising from right adrenal gland.Right adrenal is not visualized. Left adrenal is normal.

Case Discussion

This patient was referred for CT scan because of abdominal discomfort. Non-contrast CT images are highly suggestive of adrenal myelolipoma. Intravenous contrast was not given because of history of contrast allergy.
