Adrenal myelolipoma

Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
ct

Large right retroperitoneal well circumscribed mixed density lesion with macroscopic fat density as well as a soft tissue component. The lesion appears to be separate from the right kidney. The surrounding fat plane is clear with no perilesional hemorrhage.

No definite invasion to the surrounding structures. 

Case Discussion

Radiological features are most likely consistent with a right adrenal myelolipoma.

Retroperitoneal liposarcoma should be always considered in the differential diagnosis.
