This case demonstrates typical features of adrenal rests, which may mimic testicular tumours.
Adrenal rests represent adrenal cortical cells that become incorporated into gonadal tissue during fetal life. These adrenal rests may enlarge under the influence high levels of adrenocorticotropic hormones and cortical cell stimulation.
