Degenerative changes are seen as endplate irregularity and sclerosis, disk space narrowing and osteophytosis in the cervical spine.
Grade I spondyloretrolisthesis of C2 on C3 and grade I spondylolisthesis of C3 on C4 are observed.
Normal lordosis of the cervical spine is reversed, and mild scoliosis with rightward convexity is evident.
Case Discussion
Features on x-ray are compatible with advanced degenerative changes (i.e. spondylosis) of the cervical spine in a 70-year-old patient with severe neck pain.
