Presentation

Prolonged pelvic pain and deformity.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Deformity in the pelvic shape is evident.

Ankylosis of the right hip joint is present due to severe and prolonged degenerative changes. Also, an incomplete transverse fracture line with evidence of adjacent sclerosis can be seen in the proximal diaphysis of the right femur.

Dislocation in the left hip joint with the pseudo articulation and advanced degenerative changes secondary to it can be seen along with deformity and flattening in the left femoral head and neck.

Advanced bilateral hip joints osteoarthritis with right hip ankylosis, left hip dislocation, and pseudo articulation.
