Antenatal ultrasound shows agenesis of corpus callosum for confirmation and further assessment.

Patient Data

Age: 1 month
Gender: Male

Absence of corpus callosum which illustrates parallel rather than the normal configuration of the body of lateral ventricles, viking helmet appearance, absent septum pellucidum and colpocephaly.

Agenesis of the corpus callosum is among the most frequent human brain malformations with an incidence of 0.5–70 in 10,000.1
