Presentation

Painless jew swelling of 1 month duration

Patient Data

Age: 50
Gender: Male
CT

Multilocular cystic lesion involving the parasymphyseal region of the left mandibular body extending laterally to the mandibular angle. It is expansile with cortical thinning yet no cortical breakthrough or soft tissue mass.

Case Discussion

Pathologically proved ameloblastoma which is slowly growing locally malignant 2nd most common jaw tumor. It usually appears as multilocular lesion, however when it is unilocular it becomes similar to ameloblastic fibroma.
