Right inguinal reducible hernia containing an appendix with a normal echopattern. The hernia passes lateral and superficial to the inferior epigastric vessels. Right tunica vaginalis small hydrocele which was reducible/communicating type. Bilateral testes and epididymis are normal.
Case Discussion
Case of a reducible indirect inguinal hernia containing the non-inflamed appendix and the peritoneal fluid. The appendix in the hernia sac resulted in the right inguinal swelling. The peritoneal fluid tracked down to the tunica vaginalis causing hydrocele and hemiscrotal swelling.
