Right inguinal hernia containing a non-inflamed vermiform appendix. 

A cystic lesion on the right adnexal region can be seen as an additional finding.

Case Discussion

An Amyand hernia is a rare type of inguinal hernia in which the vermiform appendix is inside the hernial sac, representing less than 1% of the cases.
