Presentation
Right shoulder pain with elbow stiffness for the last few months.
Patient Data

There is a presence of an extra structure superficial to the ulnar nerve extending from the medial epicondyle of the humerus to the olecranon process of the ulna. It shows muscle echopattern. Elbow flexion results in ulnar nerve compression between the superficial muscle and the deeper ulnar collateral ligament. The muscle is present on both sides. There is no ulnar nerve oedema with an extended elbow on either side.
Case Discussion
The case shows the anconeus epitrochlearis muscle bilaterally. It is an accessory muscle in the medial elbow. There is no ulnar nerve oedema on either side on ultrasound. There was no clinical sign of cubital tunnel syndrome on either side.
