Jumped from 2 meters landing on the left foot.

Patient Data

Age: 15-year-old

Left ankle radiographs

There is a displaced Salter-Harris type 2 distal tibia fracture with associated with a comminuted and also type II distal fibular fracture.

Case Discussion

Salter-Harris type II is characterized by involvement of the physis plus corner of metaphysis.
