Jumped from 2 metres landing on the left foot.

Patient Data

Age: 15-year-old

Left ankle radiographs

Modality: X-ray

There is a displaced Salter-Harris type 2 distal tibia fracture with associated with a comminuted and also type II distal fibular fracture.

Case Discussion

Salter-Harris type II is characterised by involvement of the physis plus corner of metaphysis.
