Trans-syndesmotic oblique fracture lines.

Note the bruising below the lateral malleolus of the fractured ankle joint.

ultrasound

Joint effusion.
Complete tear of antero-inferior tibiofibular ligament (AITFL) of the right ankle.
Normal US appearance of the anterior talofibular ligament (ATFL).

Findings are compatible with ankle fracture Weber & Lauge-Hansen B2 (exorotation force on supinated foot).
