Annular fissure due to degenerative disc disease

L4 and L5 discs show flattening and signal loss due to dehydration. The L5 disc shows an about 3 mm bulge with central thin T2 hyperintense streak indicating an annular fissure.
Case Discussion
Findings are altogether suggestive of annular fissure, which can be symptomatic.
