Anteater appearance to the hind and midfoot on the lateral projection due to a bony coalition between the calcaneum and the navicular.
Case Discussion
Incidental findings substantiate a significant amount of report findings, not least in cross sectional imaging.
Perhaps this is why radiologists come up with fancy descriptions like an anteater nose to keep themselves awake! Descriptions of animals appear to be a particular penchant in reports.
