Anterior cruciate ligament avulsion injury

There is anterior cruciate ligament avulsion at the tibial insertion site. Bone marrow edema is seen at the tibial eminence. There is no displacement of the avulsed part (Meyers and McKeevers classification type 1).
Case Discussion
ACL avulsion fracture is more commonly seen in young patients with knee trauma. In this lesion, the force from the ACL traction leads to variable degrees of avulsion fracture in the tibial eminence.
