Presentation

Knee trauma, persistent knee joint pain.

Patient Data

Age: 30 year old
Gender: Male

The ACL shows heterogeneous signal intensity and loss of continuity of its fibres at the proximal aspect, as well as increased ACL angle. The PCL is buckled but intact.

Case Discussion

The anterior cruciate ligament is the most commonly injured ligament of the body.
