There is a lobulated T2 hyperintense lesion within the ACL, with a mass effect on the ligament fibres
there is no joint effusion
the menisci and collateral ligaments are unremarkable.
mild T2 hyperintensity around the semitendinous and gracilis tendons, suggestive of pes anserinus bursitis

Features of anterior cruciate ligament ganglion cysts. The differentials, in this case, are those of T2 hyperintense anterior cruciate ligament (ACL mucoid degeneration and ACL ruptures).
