Diffuse thickening and signal alteration of the anterior cruciate ligament with maintained outlines, reflecting mucoid degeneration.
Horizontal tear of the medial meniscus reaching the articular surface.
Case Discussion
Features of mucoid degeneration of the anterior cruciate ligament; the ligament is thickened and ill-defined with a "celery stalk" appearance and increased signal on all MRI sequences. Intact fibers are best seen on T2 weighted sequences.
