Full thickness rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament with anterior tibial translation and osteochondral impaction injuries to the lateral sulcus terminalis and to a lesser extent the posterolateral tibial plateau.
Grade 2 injury to distal semimembranous tendon with intra- and peri-tendinous high signal and myofascial fluid medially. Mild hyperintensity adjacent to the posterior oblique ligament and oblique popliteal ligament. No meniscal tear.
Case Discussion
Typical appearances of a full thickness ACL tear with a pivot-shift pattern of bone contusions. Low-grade posteromedial corner injury, mainly of the semimembranosus tendon - these have a high association with ACL injuries.
