Anterior cruciate ligament rupture - isolated

Moderate knee joint effusion.
Complete anterior cruciate ligament rupture appearing proximal-midsubstance. Posterior cruciate ligament is intact. No acute posterolateral corner injury. Collateral ligaments are intact. Menisci are intact.
Osteochondral impaction fractures through the sulcus terminalis of the lateral femoral condyle as well as both the posteromedial and posterolateral tibial plateaus.
Case Discussion
This case demonstrates an anterior cruciate ligament rupture without any other associated meniscal or ligamentous injury. There is the typical pivot shift pattern of bone marrow edema.
