Presentation

History of knee trauma. Presents with knee instability.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
  • complete rupture of the ACL tendon with complete fiber discontinuity and a hyperintesne ACL mid portion

  • bone contusion in the lateral femoral condyle

  • there is no joint effusion nor associated Segond fracture

  • reduced PCL angle due to buckling of PCL 

  • there is no anterior drawer sign
