Complete tear of the anterior cruciate ligament in association with the buckled posterior cruciate ligament sign.

Case Discussion

On the images, we visualize the direct sign of a complete anterior cruciate ligament tear given by the discontinuity of its fibers. The loss of the normal obtuse angle of the posterior cruciate ligament, taking an angle of 90 degrees is an indirect sign of disruption, called the buckled posterior cruciate ligament sign.
