Anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament injury

Thickening and hypoechoic echopattern of the anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament. Hypoechoic thickening of the distal interosseous tibiofibular ligament. Normal echopattern of the anterior talofibular ligament and the calcaneofibular ligament. Small effusion in the anterior ankle joint recess.
Asymptomatic side anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament shows a normal echopattern.
