Fall down stairs.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Anteromedial dislocation of the knee joint. Associated dislocation of the patella. Undisplaced oblique fracture of the fibular head. No tibial plateau, patellar or femoral condyle fracture demonstrated.

Case Discussion

All cases of knee dislocation need to progress to vascular imaging to exclude popliteal vessel injury. This patient had a CT angiogram which demonstrated a normal popliteal artery.
