Presentation

Unable to move the left shoulder after sustaining a fall.

Patient Data

Age: young adult
Gender: Male
x-ray

The humeral head is dislocated anteriorly and slightly inferiorly compared to the glenoid.

x-ray

Control x-rays obtained after repositioning show normal anatomic position of the humeral head.

Classic presentation of anterior dislocation of the shoulder, not accompanied by bone injury.
