Case Discussion
This is a remarkably common finding if one reports enough A and E and inpatient chest radiographs.
Those working in countries with a demographic consisting of many elderly patients will know falls are common resulting in visits to the hospital. Commonly, a chest radiograph and imaging of the relevant traumatized limb follow, most often the shoulder and hip.
Anterior shoulder dislocations are then noticed on the peripheral of chest radiographs, depending on the degree of collimation undertaken by the radiographer.
